After its retirement of the WRC, Peugeot turned its sport activity towards the S.2000 project creating a very fast and effective vehicle from its debut. They have two IRC Championship (2007 and 2008) and ERC title (2008).

The Fiesta S2000, M-Sport and Ford's first global rally car, which will be eligible to compete in national rally championships around the world as well as the IRC and S2000 World Cup, is due for homologation in January 2010.
Pirtek Team Rally in Australia started up this project in season 2007. Using 2 S.1600 chassis, they built Ford Fiesta S.2000 with FIA Rules. After a not very lucky season, the main sponsor left the team and Ford didn't support the idea. Project is currently stopped.
