Held every November since 2009, the Thunderhill S2000-only day is the rally the rest of the calendar builds toward. Forty-eight cars. Two days. Five miles of West-loop tarmac, all of it closed to anything that isn't an AP1 or AP2.

Pricing tiers — 2025 season
Three flat tiers across every rally, no per-event surcharges. All fees are non-refundable inside 30 days of the event; the credit stays on your member account for the following season.

Tech inspection checklist
Every car is inspected on arrival, before unload. Inspection takes 18 minutes on average; failed items can be corrected on-site at the partner service bay (paid separately).
- 01 Brake pads ≥ 4 mm, brake fluid DOT 4 or higher, dated within 12 months
- 02 Tires ≥ 5/32" tread depth, no cords visible, manufactured within 5 years (DOT date code)
- 03 Convertible top secure, no tears, latches fully engaged at both pins
- 04 Wheel torque verified to OEM spec (80 lb-ft AP1, 95 lb-ft AP2) with a torque-stripe
- 05 Battery hold-down present and tight, terminals covered
- 06 Tow hook front and rear — factory or aftermarket, painted contrasting color
- 07 No fluid leaks from power steering, oil pan, transmission, or differential
- 08 Helmet Snell SA or M, dated within 10 years; HANS compatible for Open tier
What to bring

- Long-sleeve cotton or SFI-rated fire-retardant top and pants
- Closed-toe driving shoes, thin sole preferred
- Torque wrench, 3/8" drive, with inch-pound scale
- Set of brake pads (your compound, not a spare)
- 2 gallons of your preferred brake fluid, sealed
- Printed registration confirmation — paper, not screenshot
- Two rolls of painter's tape for number placement
- Cooler — track-side water is provided but parking-spot tailgating is encouraged

I'd run three club events with other shops and left feeling like I'd paid to be a number. The Thunderhill weekend was the opposite — there were fourteen of us in my run group, the instructors knew my car from the build thread, and somebody noticed I'd left my torque wrench at home and just handed me theirs. You don't get that at a normal track day.
